PRINCESS BRIDE at 25: NYFF to Present a Cast Reunion
The Princess Bride turns 25 years old today. Inconceivable, I know.
Rob Reiner's fantasy comedy is as fresh as ever. And it's become one of the most beloved and most quotable cult movies to ever hit the screen. To celebrate this classic, the New York Film Festival on Oct. 2 will have a reunion of unusual size. Director Rob Reiner, Cary Elwes, Robin Wright, Billy Crystal, Carol Kane, Mandy Patinkin and Chris Sarandon will all be in attendance for a 35mm screening of the film (from a newly struck print) and a post-screening panel discussion.
Tickets are sold out for the screening (so don't hop in your car and head to NYC). But we'll be on the lookout for the inevitable YouTube video of the panel discussion after the Oct. 2 event.
